Testosterone
Testosterone is a controlled substance, therefore it will be shipped to your home. You will need to notify us when you are nearing 2 weeks from needing a refill.
How do I request a refill?
You can simply send a message to any of our nurses in the Power2Patient portal or call our office at (941) 722-5600 and press 2 to speak to a nurse.
When will my testosterone arrive?
Please allow 2 weeks for shipment to your home and be sure to notify us of any address changes or templorary living address changes.
Testosterone injections are not available to take home from the office.
Testosterone vials are dispensed by compounding pharmacies.
Forgot to Order or Delay in Shipping?
Testosterone injections can be administered at the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays. You will need to schedule an appointment with a nurse. Labs/office visits must be current.
note: base patients are charged $20 for this service
Estradiol and Progesterone
Will be sent to a compounding pharmacy called Apothicare.
You can choose to pick up the medication here in our office or have it shipped to your home address. Again, if there are any address changes or temporary address changes, please notify the front desk. Please allow 2 weeks for shipping.
Labs
Lab work must be done 2 weeks prior to your upcoming appointment; all lab orders will be hand delivered to the patient when in the office and put in the patient portal. You also have the option of coming into the office for a blood draw a week in advance at a self-pay rate and a faster results turnaround time.
Thyroid
Thyroid medication may be called in to the pharmacy of your choice, so please notify us if there are any changes with your local pharmacy.
Supplements
Supplements are available for shipping or for pick up in your office. We offer supplements such as DIM, D3 Emulsified, Dr. Blend's Essential Multi, you may call or send us a message through the portal.
Office Visits
Cancellations & No-shows
All appointment cancellations or reschedule requests must be provided no less than 2 business days in advance. A $100 fee will be applied for late cancellations or appointment no-shows.
note: late appointment cancellations and now-shows for counseling services (visits with Kim Blend, ARNP or Nicole Theiler, LMHC) will be charged the scheduled service fee
Sharps Disposal
We no longer dispose of sharps brought into the office. Please visit our sharps disposal page for more information and locations that will receive sharps for disposal.
